Public History Career Workshop

Join museum, regional tourism, and historic preservation professionals from across Connecticut—as well as CCSU Public History alumni—for an interactive workshop on launching your career in the public history field.

We'll be joined by:

  • Jessica Jenkins, Executive Director, Litchfield Historical Society
  • Andy King, Interpretation Volunteer Coordinator, Mystic Seaport Museum
  • Cathy Labadia, Deputy State Historic Preservation Officer and Staff Archaeologist, State Historic Preservation Office
  • Regan Miner, Development Director, The Last Green Valley

At the top, our guests will offer reflections and guidance in a panel conversation with Q&A. Afterwards, we'll break into small groups and one-on-one sessions where you'll have the chance to practice interview skills, hone your resume, get tips on building your professional profile online, and more.

Professional headshots will be available for interested attendees.
