Fall Meeting of the Connecticut Museum Educator Roundtable
Wednesday, October 17, 2018
2:00-5:00pm
Florence Griswold Museum
96 Lyme Street, Old Lyme, CT

Presented by David D.J. Rau,
Director of Education and Outreach
Welcome by New Director, Becky Beaulieu

Now in its 10th year, the Florence Griswold Museum’s Wee Faerie Village has become a fantasy phenomenon that drives thousands of visitors to the Museum each October—many donning wings and glitter. Come learn about the development process of the yearly event as well as many lessons learned over the last decade. Event includes a discussion regarding several installations followed by a self-guided tour of the village. This year’s theme, Lettersburg Junction: Wee Faerie Homesteads from A to Z and 1-2-3 features over 30 faerie-scaled installations based on the alphabet, numbers, and symbols presented in a fun and imaginative way.

This program is FREE! However, we are accepting $10 donations on the day of the event to CMER for a logo development project.
